We came to the trading post for my dad’s 70th birthday. We ordered 4 cowboy burgers. When they arrived all of the burgers were burnt and crispy. We asked for replacements, which they did. When the replacements arrived they were also burnt.
We also had 2 steaks. One was ordered as well done, and when it arrived it looked like it had been cremated!!! The other was meant to be medium/rare, and it was cooked more like medium /well. We decided not to order any desserts due to how bad the mains were. Drinks are expensive. For 2 Pepsi, and a J2O it was over £10!! We have never had a bad meal at the trading post in the past, but I certainly won’t be going back in the near future.

I went out for dinner last night with a group of friends and I am sorry to say that I didn’t have a pretty good experience there. I ordered a southern fried chicken burger with chips which took 40-45 minutes to arrive on our table. But the food I ordered was delicious and the staff were very apologetic. The atmosphere was also very busy but warm welcoming as well.

Couldn't seem to order a Carvery midweek, only Sunday Carvery listed. Went up to the counter to order, bit of a queue though, so wish it could have been on the App.

Meat was nice. Potatoes were cold. Hardly any very to choose from we had carrots, peas, red cabbage and cauliflower cheese (there was no cheese)

Not massively busy, however no check backs, 2 main courses substandard and 45 minute wait for main course. 15 minute wait for a drink.

The Trading Post. Like Boddington's, it neither excited nor disappoints. The carvery has to be their strength, their steaks their weakness. Either way, meals here - including venue, parking, location also speed and quality of service - are a guaranteed crowd pleaser.

Carvery was awful and very messy, not enough vegetables had to wait for some of them, the meats we at the end of their life and dry, stuffing was great..... a few of them and I could pave my garden! Carver needs to keep the area cleaner and to keep up the supply of vegetables

Quite regular visitors and never had a bad experience. Staff are always fantastic, in particular this evening Claire was great, going above and beyond to ensure our food order had gone through correctly and ensuring my unnoticed mistake of ordering my girlfriend a “lighter” burger option was corrected (trust me this saved me a lot of hassle).

Staff and management are extremely professional and I’d say they live and breath for the trading post hence why Orr’s a lovely place to go as we are all treat like family there

Stopped off on our journey west along the A14. We decided to try the weekday carvery and it did not disapoint. Delicious! All the staff were polite and friendly, especially the young lady behind the bar and the young lad serving on the carvery. (Lunchtime 24/2) We look forward to our next visit.

I use the trading post regularly when I visit Kettering the menu is basic but enough to choose from service is always great and the food is very tasty and good value

Popped in for a meal, Waited over an hour for our food went up to ask at the bar where the food was at, They replied with its a standard 45min wait for food then the lady on the bar seemed surprised when I said its been over an hour,
After 10mins past and the waiter came out with our mains, So had to mention about our starter hasn't arrived so they took the mains away (felt sorry for the waiter), They looked fed up,
Then after a long wait we finally got our starter,
Food was okay well.... hot but the long wait for just a simple meal ruined our appetite,
Will not be going back in too much of a hurry.

I never have any problems with the Trading post. Always find the staff friendly but professional and the food of a good standard. At just under £130 for 10 people it's a price that you can afford. Going there for my wife's 60th next month. The only thing is the alcohol free beers and ciders is ott price which can discourage drivers from staying sober

Waited 45 mins for food for two people , only one serving came out .asked for both at the same time ,10 mins later mine arrived but not the other, question where the other was ? ,"You said you didn't want it so we got rid of it " another 10 mins and a new serving arrived .mine was cold by then and uneatable.we left with mine uneaten on the table.

We love the carvery, we visit as a couple or with the children several times a year and always enjoy it. Staff are friendly and the pub is generally clean for such a budget friendly establishment too. Keep up the good work!
